Stonewood man arrested after police find drugs in vehicle

A Stonewood man was arrested Monday night after police allegedly found drugs in his vehicle.

Adonnis Beam, 29, was pulled over near McDonald's on West Pike Street after Clarksburg Police noticed an expired registration sticker at approximately 11 p.m.

Police allegedly detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and decided to search it.

Four grams of methamphetamine, a marijuana joint, a stolen pistol, a glass smoking pipe, 18 plastic bags, digital scales and two cell phones were found in the vehicle, police said.

Beam is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
