UPDATE: Woman receives minor injuries in Taylor County vehicle rollover

MEADLAND, W.Va. - UPDATE (3/9/18 at 1 p.m.):

Deputies said Rosalie Jordan was traveling north on Meadland Road when she lost control of her vehicle Thursday afternoon.

The vehicle flipped two or three times and landed on its top. Jordan was trapped inside, and the Grafton Fire Department and Taylor County EMS got her out of the vehicle, according to Taylor County Sheriff Terry Austin.

Jordan had minors injuries, Austin said, and the car appears to be a total loss.


Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle accident in Taylor County Thursday afternoon. 

The accident happened at approximately 1 p.m. on Meadland Road off of Route 50, according to 911 officials. 

A female was transported to United Hospital Center, according to Taylor County EMS.

The Grafton Fire Department, the Boothsville Volunteer Fire Department, the Flemington Volunteer Fire Department, Taylor County EMS and the Taylor County Sheriff's Department responded to the accident, according to 911 officials.

The Taylor County Sheriff's Department will be handling the investigation.
