BRUCETON MILLS W. Va. - The 7th annual WinterFest was held Saturday at Coopers Rock State Forest.
Participants were able to take part in a Snow Obstacle Course, Snowball
Target Range,sledding, and cross country skiing, among many other activities.
This event showcased winter activities that take place at the park on a regular basis.
A unique part of the day was a women's frying pan toss where the winner took home a special trophy.
WinterFest is admission-free, and family-oriented.
"If you like winter recreation and the outdoors, this is your go to place in this area. So we wanted to kind of promote that and recognize that, and shine a spot light on it," said Adam Polinski, organizer.
This event was hosted by the Coopers Rock Foundation.
