The Cheat Lake Volunteer Fire Department was getting into the holiday giving spirit on Saturday with a Community Caring Day.
This was free item giveaway where anyone in the community could attend to pick up new or gently used clothing, housewares and more.
Items for all ages are collected throughout the year, and the event is held every few months.
Everything is donated by the community.
Several box trailers full of items were collected this time around.
"We're just trying to spread the word so that we can help out as many people as possible. There are no type of qualifications or guidelines, you can take as much or as little as you need. We do try to let people know to be mindful of others in need as well," said the Coordinator of Community Caring Jennifer Zeigler.
Organizers can be contacted through the Community Caring Facebook Page.
