MORGANTOWN -- The final score of 17 to 6 probably wasn't most people predicted; however, it was enough to boost the WVU Mountaineers past the Syracuse Orange in Saturday's football game and to keep WVU undefeated in the Big East at 2-0.
Some of that credit goes to the old gold and blue's defense, the squad was able to stop the Orange three times on fourth down situations and only allow Syracuse to score once in their three tries into the end zone.
WVU Safety Nate Sowers recorded his first career interception in Saturday's game but he says his team can't let up as they prepare for Auburn.
