4-H students were introduced to veterinary careers Saturday at West Virginia University.

MORGANTOWN -- More than a 120 people participated in the first Davis-Michael 4-H Day at WVU.
Students grades 3 to 12, and their parents, learned about proper pet care, such as grooming and diet.
There were also hands-on activities and educational sessions aimed at helped students learn what it takes to be a veterinarian.
Students from 22 different counties participated.
Organizers say the program had such a good response that they plan to expand the 4-H Day next year.
