ELKINS -- Wilson Martino Dental offered free hygiene appointments to kids 12 and under including cleanings, exams, X-rays, and flouride treatments. Wilson Martino also picked up the cost for things like fillings, crowns, and extractions.

About 40 kids attended the event.

Workers say getting good dental care is important to the kids' health.

"Anything that's happening in your mouth can affect the rest of your body. And so we want to make sure that your mouth is healthy to prevent health problems later on medically," says Wendy Boyce, with Wilson Martino Dental.

Boyce says Wilson Martino rotates its Healthy Kids Drive around its seven offices each summer. She says this is the first time it's been in Randolph County.
