JACKSON'S MILL -- West Virginia University's Jackson's Mill is hosting Alpha 1's "Wired & Wonderful" 4-H camp this week.
About 80 kids from across the state are participating in the camp, which is designed to teach them about new technologies.
The campers attend a variety of workshops, including Lego-robotics, geo-caching, GPS, nanotechnology, water quality training, and computer literacy.
Organizers say the camp helps kids become interested in science.
"The camp offers youth across the state to learn about these new technologies and also it helps them gain social skills as well as skills with working with these new technologies and get them interested in being a scientist," says WVU Extension Agent David Hartley.
The camp will wrap up on Friday.
