It happened on Route 20 in Adrian.

BUCKHANNON -- A Lewis County man was killed Wednesday in a motorcycle accident in Upshur County.

It happened at 8:32 p.m. on Route 20 north in Adrian.

Stephen Shriver, 53 of Weston, was riding a 1998 Harley Davidson when he lost control in a turn, state police say.

The bike ran off the road, hit the guardrail and flipped, throwing Shriver off of the motorcycle, troopers say.

Shriver was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon.

He died at the hospital, early Thursday morning.

The state police are investigating the accident.

I rented my home off of Squeak and you could not ask for a better person. We will sadly miss him and we loved him very much. Things around the house and shop will never be the same without him. Please keep everyone that knew Squeak in your prayers.

Squeak was my cousin. He was an original. A powerful eater, a hard worker, and loved his "off-time". I hate this for Brenda and Steve (son). His brother went too soon also. Prayers for them.
