PHILIPPI -- AP English students at Philip-Barbour High School are learning how to write news stories and are posting them to YouNews.

Each week, they submit stories about school activities and events to the student editor who posts them, with video and pictures, to YouNews.

He says it is a great chance to show people their work.

"It's good that we have the opportunity to get our name out there to show what our school has and what we have to offer. It's exciting because we don't offer journalism this year so this is an opportunity for students to still write about the school," says Thomas Canny, Philip-Barbour's AP English Student Editor.

You can see their work, and post your own, by clicking on the YouNews icon.
