MORGANTOWN -- The West Virginia University Division of Theatre and Dance is entertaining and hoping to scare people this Halloween season.
Wednesday was the opening night of the classic horror story 'Dracula'.
The play is inspired by the 1897 novel by Bram Stoker.
The play's director says Dracula has a lot of tension and suspense.
"The scenery is spectacular, the costumes are wonderful," says Director Jerry McGonigle.
"We pull out some trickery to make it kinda special so I think it's just a really great kinda Halloween evening," says McGonigle.
The play will run every evening through Saturday and end with a Sunday matinee at 2:00.
On Saturday, a special "football and fear" promotion will get football fans two tickets for the price of one with their football ticket stubs.
To get tickets to the show call 304-293-SHOW.
