LifeTite Metal Products Manufacturers is expanding to the Belington Industrial Park.
BELINGTON -- A Jackson County business is expanding to Barbour County, officials have announced.
LifeTite Metal Products Manufacturers has leased a 50,000 square foot shell building at the Belington Industrial Park, development officials said.
The building is owned by the Barbour County Development Authority.
LifeTite specializes in metal building component manufacturing, including roof and wall panels and trim.
The company expects to employ five people, at first, but then expand to more than 10 employees, within the first year, according to the development authority.
LifeTite is expanding to Barbour County in a effort to expand its client base, officials said.
"We are pleased that LifeTite has chosen Barbour County as the location for their expansion project. They are making a significant investment in the existing facility and we hope that their business will thrive at this new location," said BCDA Executive Director Lisa Sharp.
A 25,000 square foot building at the industrial park, also owned by the development authority, is available for lease.
Acreage is also available at the park.
