MORGANTOWN -- Just in time for the West Virginia University basketball season and the Christmas shopping season, the Friends of WVU Hospitals Gift Shop is selling the newest of the Monti-bear series, "Hug-A-Bear."

The toy is endorsed and co-designed by Head Men's Basketball Coach Bob Huggins.

The black bear wears a coonskin cap, a blue blazer and carries a basketball.

A portion of the proceeds go to Coach Huggins' mother's cancer fund, the Norma Mae Huggins Cancer Research Foundation.

The bear is for sale at the Friends of WVU Hospitals Gift Shop and online.
