MORGANTOWN -- The Mountaineer Maniacs hosted a coaches versus cancer fundraiser Saturday evening.
The benefit dinner was planned to help West Virginia University Men's Head Basketball Coach Bob Huggins raise money for the American Cancer Society, an organization close to Huggins after his mother died from colon cancer.
He has already raised $50,000 for the cancer society's efforts.
Mountaineer Maniacs are hoping to raise an additional $5,000.
The Maniacs is the largest student group on campus. |
