MARSHVILLE -- An accident in Harrison County sent one person to the hospital Sunday.
It happened after 6 p.m. at the intersection of Route 50 and Marshville Road.
Authorities say the driver of the pickup truck ran off the road, down an embankment, and ended up in Ten Mile Creek.
When crews arrived on scene, they found the male driver out of the vehicle and sitting on the ground. He was taken to United Hospital Center with non-life threatening injuries, according to authorities.
Fire departments from Reynoldsville, Salem, and Stonewood along with Harrison County EMS responded to the accident.
The Harrison County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
The second accident happened in Monongalia County.
It took place around 6 p.m. on Interstate 68 near the Sabraton exit.
An SUV rolled over and ended up off the side of the highway near an embankment.
All three were transported to the hospital. Their conditions were not immediately reported.
