MORGANTOWN -- Hundreds of dogs and their owners were thinking of peace, love, and drool today in Morgantown. M-Snap held its first "Woofstock" at Mylan Park this afternoon.
Organizers say they expected more than 250 dogs to attend.
Many pet-related vendors were on hand at the Hazel and J-W Community Center.
Admission was free and 100 percent of donations benefit Spay and Neuter awareness, which according to M-snap is the main reason for the event.
"It's a one-time operation, it's not something you do every year. It's insurance for the health of the pet and the stability for the relationship with the pet." said Teddi Lester of M-SNAP
M-SNAP stands for the Mountaineer Spay Neuter Assistance Program.
They've provided close to 900 vouchers to owners in the past year.
