Megan Rogers
Megan Rogers, 13, has been missing since Nov. 20.

(CBS)

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children said Nov. 24 that a girl missing in West Virginia might be in the Albany, N.Y., area.

According to NCMEC, Megan Rogers, 13, has been missing since Nov. 20 from Shepherdstown.

Police said the girl might be in the company of an adult male, possibly traveling in a gray 2001 Nissan Sentra with New York license plate EDP2644.

Rogers was last seen with her hair highlighted red, and may be wearing her hair in a bun. Her ears pierced.

The public is urged to call 800-THE-LOST if they have any information concerning Megan Rogers' disappearance. Calls are kept confidential.

More information about Rogers is available from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's poster about Rogers.

yeah you cant blame parents or the kids because its all about the sick people who do these things. young girls are easy targets for older men because they can be manipulated especially online so she is def a victim and im sure her family is hurting so saying something like, this is their fault or where were they, is uncalled for and stupid. the world is the way it is because we have all made it this way so if you want to blame someone blame yourself as well. and if social networks are so bad why are you on here making comments for society to read. it seems you love social networking.

You can tell by the photograph that she is a young girl, a child. There are predators out there that prey on young children and have been long before the advent of the internet. The internet just gives them another venue to prey on victims, but it also gives law enforcement a good trail to follow and evidence and ways to track these people that commit these heinous crimes too.

Don't blame the innocent victims, or the parents. Focus on the criminals please.

My heart goes out to the parents and family of this little girl, and I hope she is safe & returned home soon!

i'm going to get straight to the point. look at this girl. i bet a million dollars it's off of some social networking site where she prob. told the person she was older than what she was and she's gotten herself in some Shi you know what over it. where were her parents when all of this was going on? this world is heading in a sad direction. kids can get online and have so much freedom and noone is monitoring any of it and then we all wonder how could this happen when a kid comes up missing. this will only get worse from here. anyone who reads this you remember my words that this is only going to get worse.
