BRIDGEPORT -- A woman had to be cut out of her car after an accident on Interstate 79, in Harrison County, Wednesday.
The accident was reported at 12:23 p.m., at mile marker 127, in Bridgeport.
The driver of a Chevy Impala was heading north on I-79, when she was cut off, authorities said.
She jerked her wheel to the right, causing the car to flip onto its top on the side of the road.
Emergency workers had to cut the roof off of the car to get the driver out.
She was not badly injured, but was taken to United Hospital Center as a precaution, officials said.
She was wearing a seat belt, which officials said probably kept her from being badly injured.
One northbound lane of I-79 was closed while the accident was cleaned up.
