Open House Held for Physicians

By Deanne Stein

The Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center prepares to open its doors in Cabell County.

On Thursday, an open house was held for the media, physicians and hospital staff.

The facility is located at Cabell Huntington Hospital and features state-of-the-art radiation therapy technology. The three-story, 70,000 square-foot cancer center will offer care to both adults and children. In fact, the pediatric area will offer a play area, games and television, as well as a separate area for adolescents.

The center will take its first patients on Monday, January 9th.
