As Mountaineer fans celebrate WVU's win, police officials prepare for the worst.

Story by Katherine Jones

It was a big win for WVU which translated into big celebrations for mountaineer fans. Even for the fans back home.

"I really hope that they go all the way and make it to the final four, " said WVU Fan Alexa Johnson.

"I thought it was awesome and I hope they go all the way and they did really good," said WVU Fan Chelsi Tabor.

"I was excited and proud and happy to be a mountaineer," said WVU Fan Donald Shaffer.

But for local law enforcement it's time to prepare for trouble.

"We're not expecting any problems but you always prepare for the worst," said Sr. Trooper D.E. Barger. "As you know last year we had some problems, but we're prepared for the problems this year.
