Morning & Noon Meteorologist
Tony J. is the Morning and Noon Meteorologist at WBOY, joining the staff in October 2011. Neither rain nor sleet nor snow will keep him from giving his forecasts each day at 5am and Noon.
Tony J. is a native Michigander from the bottom of your left thumb (Michigan…mitten…yeah). A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Tony J. received a bachelor's degree while studying Broadcast Journalism and Meteorology.
While going to college, Tony J. worked in Toledo at WTVG, working mostly behind the scenes as a weather producer, but popping up on air from time to time.
After WTVG, he traveled out to the Rockies and the land of the wind. Wyoming was home while he worked at KTWO as the Morning and Noon Meteorologist. Tony J.'s most memorable moment while at KTWO was conquering the "Wall of Flame" where he polished off ghost chili wings during one of his stories showcasing restaurants. Ghost chili peppers are the world's hottest peppers, just so you know. Eat your heart out Adam Richman!
When he is not keeping his eyes glued to the weather, Tony J. loves all sports (playing and watching), poker, cooking, movies, and music. Any chance Tony J. gets, he cheers on his Detroit sports teams and the MAIZE AND BLUE! He's extremely, extremely, extremely sorry. Tony J. is the commissioner of one massive fantasy football league. Go Alouettes!
