
Concord (4-3 Overall; 4-1WVIAC) @ Fairmont State (6-2 Overall; 3-2 WVIAC)
It's homecoming weekend in Fairmont as the Falcons look to continue to beat out of the area competition. Of the Falcons two losses, both came at the hands of local rivals Glenville State and West Virginia Wesleyan.
The Falcons have lost two straight to the Mountain Lions and will need to slow down a powerful running game if they want a chance to build off of their last win, a 38-20 mashing of Seton Hill.
Head Coach Mike Lopez believes Concord has the best secondary in the conference, and that they themselves will need to provided a significant rushing attack to allow quarterback Logan Moore to have success in the passing game.
Homecoming festivities will continue all week long up until kick-off scheduled for 2 P.M.
West Virginia State (1-6 Overall; 1-4 WVIAC) @ West Virginia Wesleyan (8-0 Overall; 5-0 WVIAC)
The Bobcats are flying high after taking sole possession of first place in the conference with their 50-38 victory over Glenville State last weekend. They welcome in a struggling West Virginia State team last is looking to play spoiler on senior day at Cebe Ross Field.
Senior quarterback Adam Neugebauer leads the country in Division II with passing yards per game (2,895) and passing touchdowns (33). Look for him to have another outstanding performance in his home field swan song.
Glenville State (4-4 Overall; 4-1 WVIAC) @ University of Charleston (2-6 Overall; 2-3 WVIAC)
The Pioneers will need to have a short memory after last weeks emotional 50-38 loss to West Virginia Wesleyan. While the Pioneers do not control their own destiny the rest of the way for a conference championship, they can still win out and hope that the Bobcats slip up.
Head Coach David Hutchison has said that his team has moved on from the loss, and that they came back to practice this week with a jump in their step. They realize that Charleston may not be all that good record wise, but that they can still beat any team, any night, in this conference.
