The West Virginia Wesleyan volleyball team earned a spot in
the initial NCAA rankings for the 2011 season.
The Lady Bobcats are ninth in the Atlantic Region. Fellow
WVIAC member school Wheeling Jesuit is No. 1.
WVWC is led by Paula Renteria and Jessica Pattyn. Both players are averaging
2.50 kills per set. Casey Pattyn is recorded 9.14 assists per game. Renata
Comparini is getting 4.74 digs per set. Erin Bond is defensively blocking at
least one hit per game.
Wesleyan is currently 21-8 on the season and 10-2 in conference play.
