The Fairmont State football team picked up a tough road win at West Virginia State on Saturday. The Falcons pulled out a fourth quarter 35-31 victory over the Yellow Jackets. The WVIAC recognized FSU's Aubura Taylor for his outstanding performance on Monday.
Taylor is this week's WVIAC Special Teams Player of the Week. The junior was instrumental in returning kicks for Fairmont State.
The Arizona native averaged more than 37 yards a return on four kick returns that totaled 151 yard. The longest return for Taylor was 48 yard. Taylor also returned two punts for 33 yards. He had 184 all-purpose yards on the day. Five of the six kicks the Falcon returned went into State's territory.
