#11 WV Wesleyan (8-0, 5-0) at Charleston (3-6, 3-3) – 1:00 p.m.
No. 11 West Virginia Wesleyan could be vaulted into the Top 10 with a
win over Charleston, Saturday. The Bobcats continue to dominate on
offense, 556 total yards last week. Adam Neugebauer leads the country in
total offense and though he has a host of receivers, in the last couple
of games Wesleyan has found a ground game. The rush attack is led by
Keith Dickens who scored three times last week. Wesleyan won 41-21 in
2010, but the last time this game was played in Charleston, UC won.
Shepherd (7-2, 4-2) at Glenville State (4-5, 4-2) – 12:00 p.m.
Glenville State and Shepherd are currently tied for fourth place in
the conference standings. Glenville suffered a tough loss at Charleston
last week after amassing 512 yards of total offense. This was a crazy
game last year as Glenville went to Shepherd and came away with a
victory from the previously unbeaten Rams.
Fairmont State (6-3, 3-3) at WV State (1-7, 1-5) – 1:00 p.m.
Fairmont State is looking to bounce back from a loss to Concord last
Saturday. The Falcons fly to West Virginia State this week, a team that
has just one win. FSU struggled offensively last week and lost two keys
players to injury. Running back Daniel Monroe's status is still
questionable for the game.
