WVIAC Women's Soccer All-Conference Honors

Alderson-Broaddus Goal Keeper Kate Laird and Head Coach Patrick McGinnis took home Player and Coach of the Year honors respectively as the 2011 WVIAC accolades were released.

Laird, a Morgantown native, registered a league-high 11 shutouts, one on the way to the 2011 WVIAC tournament championship and an automatic spot in the NCAA tournament.

McGinnis has lead the Lady Battlers to their second tournament championship game and for the first time in his career, to a NCAA birth.

WVIAC Freshman of the Year honors went to West Virginia Wesleyan's Rachel Ritchey. She was a pivotal scoring threat all season long during the Bobcats regular season conference championship run, totaling 23 points on 10 goals and three assists.
