Pioneers End Season On High Note, Dispatch Seton Hill 63-44

GREENSBURG, PA -

Pioneer head coach David Hutchison used his first season at the helm to establish toughness into the program and did so ending things on a building note beating Seton Hill 63-44 on both teams final game of the season.

The Pioneers end the season with an overall record of 5-6, but were right in the conference race up until the final few weeks after facing one of the most difficult non-conference schedules in all of Division II football.

The Pioneers were down by ten in the third quarter before scoring five consecutive touchdowns to take the lead for good. Steffen Colon had a big day at quarterback as he found Jakhari Murphy, Antwan Stewart and Jordan Griffin for touchdowns in the third quarter. Matt Parker also picked off a pass for a score.

The junior quarterback Colon finished the day 293 yards with six touchdowns, helping to build this teams' confidence going into the off season.
