
The WVIAC regular football season finished up Saturday. The conference handed out it's final round of weekly awards Monday.
Glenville State Wide Receiver Jordan Griffin is the co-Offensive Player of the Week (along with Concord's Brian Kennedy). Griff grabbed six catches for 128 yards and three touchdowns in the Pioneers' 63-44 victory over Seton Hill.
Fairmont State's Ryland Newman picked up the final Special Teams Player of the Week award. For the second time this season, Newman returned a punt for a touchdown. This one was good for 72 yards. In total, Newman had three punt returns for 75 yards.
