The Davis & Elkins women's basketball team is looking to utilize five new players including two junior college transfers in 2011-2012.
D&E is an athletic team that likes to run, run, run. Head Coach Jason Asbell said all of his players fit into that style of play.
Just one starter is a senior but that doesn't mean the Lady Senators lack experience. Page Turner, Jorden Lykes, Rachel Gostomski, Amy Turner and Victoria Lyles will be this season's starters.
Coach Asbell said that he thinks his team has the power to make anything happen.
"Our conference this year, Glenville's the preseason favorite to win it. After that, I think a lot of things are up for grabs," said Coach Asbell. "I feel like if our team can come together and our freshman can learn from their mistakes, anything could happen."
