Jeff Schrock joined the staff at WBOY in October 2007.

He covers stories for Randolph, Tucker, and Upshur County.  Jeff rotates news anchor duties for 12 News at 11 on Fridays, and 12 News Weekend Edition. He has also held positions as a news photographer and live truck operator.

Schrock was raised in Taylor County. He is a graduate of Grafton High School. He currently lives in Buckhannon. 

Schrock began his television career at the local CBS affiliate in Bridgeport. He worked there as a production assistant, promotion manager, and finally news anchor/reporter. Schrock also has worked in newspaper and radio.  

When he's not working, Jeff volunteers his time as a member of the West Virginia Wing of Civil Air Patrol, the official auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force. He holds the rank of Lt Colonel.

His hobbies are enjoying the outdoors, golf, following entertainment and current daily news, aviation, and space exploration, which he enjoyed in July 2011 by doing stories on the last Space Shuttle mission at Cape Canaveral, Fla.

Jeff also enjoys oldies music, jazz, and music of Frank Sinatra. 

He enjoys hearing from people in North Central West Virginia, and loves to call this state home.
