"We've rushed for 3,700 yards this season, Chazzy (Thomas) the other day rushed for 180, we've had six different guys rush for 100 yards because of our offensive line, which is led by Danny Berry. He's a cornerstone and anchor of our offensive line," Morgantown head coach John Bowers said.
The senior measurements are not far off from most Division I offensive centers. He checks in at 6'2, 300 pounds with a max bench of 360 pounds, and can squat 450. To quote the Spiderman flicks, 'with great power comes great responsibility,' and Berry's making sure that he's getting the max out of his size.
"Anything I can do to better myself, I do. I missed two lifts this off-season, and our last weight trainer, we were pretty close, he was a little angry about that," senior center Daniel Berry said.
What did you miss them for?
"It was my birthday that week," Berry added with a smile.
The pancake sticker is the most coveted of all the personal achievement stickers for the Mohigans. Daniel Berry, he's got over 50 of these bad boys, and getting these, well, let's just say you don't want to be on the other team.
"He has turned into an animal all the way around, he leads us in pancake blocks. It's like his total personal has changed, he wants to hurt you, he wants to block you and knock you to the ground. Then he wants to help you up so he can do it the next play too," added Bowers with a grin.
For the fourth straight year the Mohigans road to Wheeling Island goes through Martinsburg, and for past three, it's stopped there. This time around the Mohigans feel they are peaking at the right time and Berry's hoping next weekend they'll still be playing football.
"It would mean a lot, I've been up there 10th grad, last year and this year and we've lost every time, I'd like to go up there and win," Berry said.
