High pressure will be holding on for a few more days, and with a mild south flow ahead of our next cold front, it will stay mild with afternoon highs well into the 60s.  On this blog, we will be focusing on the GFS weather model, which has been a bit more consistent in the last few days.

Saturday will stay dry as the high pressure moves off shore, allowing the cold front to approach from the west.  By Sunday morning, the front will pass over the state with showers and a isolated thunderstorm.

Cooler air behind the front will deliver some snow showers by Sunday evening and into Monday.  Some minor snow accumulation will be possible, best chance east of 79 over the mountains.

High pressure should build back in with dry conditions Tuesday and Wednesday. But overall, the pattern looks cooler for much of next week, with highs generally in the 40s and morning lows in the 20s and 30s.

Have a great weekend!
