The Climate Prediction Center generates forecasts over long periods of time.  I have posted the CPC forecast from last week that looks at the next three months, which basically covers most of our winter season.  As in previous forecasts, the trend is warmer and wetter.  So far in November, temperatures have been above average, with precip now back on track for the month after a dry start. 

With La Nina being weaker than previous thought so far this fall, this could mean the brunt of winter weather to our west, over the Midwest.  Stay tuned for updates!
