The team won first place in the land judging and home site division.

The YMCAs in Bridgeport and Clarksburg have a number of new or existing programs that will take place in December and ones that will begin in January.

Here is a list of those events and programs:

Preschool Picassos Art class for preschoolers on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Preschool Floor Hockey on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Wee Play, Splash and Learn on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. There will be science lessons, gym games and craft and swimming.
Winter Day Camp- Dec. 28-30.
Parent's Night Out Dec. 17 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Martin Luther King Day Gym and Swim

Other programs that the YMCAs will have are youth development, silver sneakers, power yoga and zumba Sundays.
