Fairmont Soup Opera Needs Winter Clothes For Children

Fairmont's Soup Opera is getting ready for its big winter clothing giveaway but said it's low on a couple of items. Specifically, children's clothing.

Director Shelia Skidmore said the Soup Opera needs child-sized sweatshirts, outfits, and socks.  It's also low on men's gloves.

Skidmore said everyone deserves to feel special on Christmas.

"This is something we do something special for them at Christmas time," Skidmore said.  "Everybody likes a new gift at Christmas. Nobody wants to open up used clothing or something."

The Soup Opera is asking you to drop off your donation by Monday.

It will distribute the donated winter clothing on Wednesday.
