NAM data for Sunday morning. Rain along the Gulf Coast, dry here.
GFS model for Sunday early afternoon. Rain showers staying south of WV.
Latest Euro model brings precip farther north, but still south of the viewing area.
Just when we thought the threat for rain and snow showers on Sunday was looking likely, the model consensus is to keep the system for Christmas south. I still like the Euro solution, which has the precip north, but still south of northern and central West Virginia. Our extreme southern counties, particularly Pocahontas, Webster and southern Randolph has a slight chance of seeing a few flakes, but it remains slight.
The way the models have been doing this week, don't be surprised if another flip flop arrives before the end of the week! Stay tuned!
