Fire Departments Respond to West Union Restaurant Fire

A West Union restaurant caught fire shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday night.

A West Union Volunteer Fire Department official said the fire started on the kitchen stove and spread to the upstairs of T & J Restaurant. The restaurant was open at the time, but no one inside was injured.

In addition to West Union, fire departments from Smithburg, Greenwood, and Pennsboro responded to the fire.
