AT&T announced Tuesday that it has completed a key initiative in its ongoing efforts to enhance the wireless capacity and performance of its mobile network, according to the news release from AT&T.
The wireless enhancement will be between Morgantown and Fairmont on Interstate 79 on Jennings-Randolph Highway, according to the news release.
Officials said the expansion will also provide additional coverage for AT&T customers along portions of County Roads 73, US-19 and Rivesville, Montana and Little Falls.
"We're excited to expand mobile broadband to the neighborhoods along and around Morgantown and Fairmont," said president of AT&T Mid-Atlantic J. Michael Schweder. "Our network investments along the Jennings-Randoph Expressway and across West Virginia are one way we're able to provide an enhanced customer experience."
