BRIDGEPORT -
Two victims were flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital and three transported by ambulance to United Health Center after three cars were involved in an accident on Interstate 79.
Around 6:30 p.m., the southbound lanes of I-79 were shut down near Exit 121 and remained closed for several hours.
At least one victim was believed to be extricated from one of the vehicles, according to Harrison County 911.
HealthNet landed at the Anmoore Volunteer Fire Department and the victims were flown from there.
Several agencies responded to the scene. Clarksburg Fire Department, Bridgeport Fire Department, Harrison County EMS, and Anmoore Volunteer Fire Department were on scene.
Bridgeport and West Virginia State Police assisted with traffic.
