A man died Friday night after a single-car accident on Interstate 68 in Monongalia County around 9 p.m. near mile marker 11.
Brian Alexander Tayman, 24, of Prince
George County, Md., lost control of his vehicle, the Monongalia County Sheriff's Department said. His car struck a guardrail, rolled into the embankment and hit a tree.
He was dead upon the arrival of law enforcement and Monongalia Emergency Medical Services. They pronounced Tayman dead on the scene.
The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department is still investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call 304-291-7260.
