Douglas Hester, 42Taylor County Judge Alan Moats arraigned 23 people Wednesday on charges ranging from drugs to malicious assault.
Some of the cases we've been following include:
James Moyer, 26, was charged with malicious assault and second degree sexual assault.
The Taylor County Sheriff's Department arrested Moyer after they said he severely beat and assaulted his girlfriend.
The victim suffered facial fractures, a broken nose, and bruised ribs.
Moyer is facing separate battery and prescription drugs charges in Harrison County and is currently out on bond.
Zachary Dalton, 19, was arraigned on malicious assault and burglary charges.
The Grafton Police said Dalton broke into a house and attacked his ex-girlfriend's father.
The victim went to Grafton City Hospital with face injuries and there was damage done to the home, too.
Dalton is also out on bond.
Douglas Hester, 42, was arraigned on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance.
Hester was arrested by the Tygart Valley Drug and Violent Crime Unit as part of a drug round-up in May.
Hester is in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
Five were arraigned on burglary and conspiracy charges from a May 2011 incident.
Authorities said David Shoemaker, 31 of Clarksburg, Christopher Rogers, 21 of Bridgeport, Dmitri Brandon McQuain, 28 of Bridgeport, and Lisa Shoffler, 29 of Westover were involved.
All four entered not guilty pleas.
Rocco Miller, 29, was also indicted in this case but did not show up for his arraignment.
Patricia McCoy, 30 of Grafton, was arraigned on a charge of felony child abuse resulting in injury. The state police said McCoy was babysitting a 2-year-old girl and spanked her multiple times. The child was left with severe bruising, troopers said.
