The Marion County Board of Equalization is accepting property assessment appeals in the county.
People who want to appeal their assessments can stop by the county commission office and fill out an appeals application.
The board will start hearing cases on Monday.
Commissioner Butch Tennant said the best way to contest your taxes is with a certified appraisal.
"If you've had an appraisal in the last three years and your appraisal says it's three hundred thousand," said Marion County Commission's Butch Tennant. "You bring it in and we take care of it right there. There's no questions asked."
The last day to file for an appeal is Friday, Feb. 17.
If you have questions, call (304) 367-5400.
