State Police Investigating Deadly Taylor County Shooting

The West Virginia State Police, Taylor County Sheriff's Department and the Marion County Sheriff's Department are investigating a shooting complaint in the Boothsville area of Taylor County.

According to a news release, a victim died due to a gunshot wound late Thursday night.

Officials said the investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.
