Spokesperson Marsha A. Dadisman from the W.Va. Medical Examiners office said an unidentified male body that was found near Cheat Lake is being autopsied at the W.Va. Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
No identification has been made at this time, Dadisman said.

West Virginia State Police recovered human remains in Cheat Lake Tuesday, according to a news release from W.Va. State Police.
W.Va. State Police said that around 9:15 a.m. they received a call of a suspicious object floating in the waters of Cheat Lake.
Members from the Morgantown Detachment and W.Va. State Police Crime Scene Response Team responded to the area and recovered human remains with the help of Point Marion Volunteer Fire Department's rescue boat.
The remains were transported to the W.Va. State Medical Examiner's Office for identification, officials said.
W.Va. State Police said this case is still under investigation.
