The Monongalia County Sheriff's Office Detective Unit has identified the human remains recovered from Cheat Lake on Jan. 31 by West Virginia State Police, according to a news release from Monongalia County.
Detectives have confirmed that the remains are that of Quintin A. Bolden, 23, of Morgantown, according to the news release.
Deputies said Bolden was reported missing to the Monongalia County Sheriff's Office on Nov. 28, 2011.
The investigation into his disappearance is being handled by the Monongalia County Sheriff's Office Detective Unit. Deputies said the case is being investigated as a homicide.
