Art Vending Machine Unveiled at West Virginia Wesleyan College

Posted: Updated:

Have you ever considered buying a piece of art from a vending machine?

Soon, you'll be able to do just that.

The Art-O-Mat debuted at West Virginia Wesleyan College Wednesday night.

The pieces of art will cost $5.00 from the machine, which will be located at the "88 Restaurant" in Buckhannon.

It's one of about 100 across the United States.

"Artists who want to have their work out there, per se, they love the idea that we're kind of bypassing the traditional sense of art and going straight to the people," said Art-O-Mat creator Clark Whittington.

If you are an artist who would be interested in getting your work showcased in the Art-O-Mat, you can visit the company's website for more information.
