A Randolph County woman took helping a charity into her own hands on Saturday.
Casandra Trudgeon held a Locks of Love drive at Davis and Elkins College, after she couldn't find a place to donate on her own hair.
Local hairdressers came to support the cause, and the event also collected donations for the charity.
Trudgeon said she has personal reasons for supporting the cause.
"I personally have had cancer on several occasions and I would like to make sure that the children who have it at least have a head of hair and they don't have to go around without having a wig or something to wear," said Trudgeon.
If you'd like to donate your hair, or make a monetary donation, you can contact Trudgeon at 304-516-4698.
