West Virginia Wesleyan senior Raymont McElroy has earned his second straight WVIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week Award. That's thanks in part to the fact that for the second straight Saturday in a row, McElroy put up more than 40 points for the Bobcats.

Wesleyan picked up two wins on the week, beating Glenville State and Shepherd at home.

Against GSC, the Wisconsin native scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Both of those statistics were game highs. Against the Rams, the dual threat guard/forward shot 11-18 from the floor and scored 41 total points. The win against Shepherd was Wesleyan's seventh straight victory.

McElroy shares the award with West Liberty's C.J. Hester.

Fairmont State's Isaac Thornton has been noted as another top performer for the week.
