The Barbour County Sheriff's Department and the West Virginia State Police executed a search warrant in Belington on Feb. 13, according to a news release from Barbour County Sheriff's Department.

The search warrant was used in an ongoing drug investigation by deputies of the Barbour County Sheriff's Department, according to the news release.

Deputies said the warrant was obtained Monday evening through Barbour County Magistrate Court by Magistrate Mouser.

Stanley Wiseman, 42, and Sarah Jane Wiseman, 49, were arrested and charged with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance. Deputies said the two were distributing marijuana and a broad assortment of prescription drugs.

Both suspects were arraigned in Barbour County Magistrate Court on Feb. 14. They are both currently lodged in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail with bail set at $10,000.

Deputies said further drug investigations are pending.
