Anmoore Police responded to a report of a single car accident Wednesday at 10:21 a.m.

Witnesses said an 85-year-old man was traveling around a curve on North Pike St. in Anmoore and he didn't attempt to turn the vehicle. The driver slammed into a tree.

Police said the man was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown via Healthnet.
